Sweet, thoughtful, and undeniably in love, Pei and Justin’s City Hall Wedding in the heart of New York City was a celebration of intimacy and romance that left a lasting imprint on my heart.

Before their special day, we spent hours planning and discussing the details, so by the time their elopement day arrived, it felt like meeting up with dear friends. This connection only deepened the significance of capturing their love story.

The weather on their elopement day mirrored the city’s hustle – a rainy backdrop that added an unexpected layer of romance. New York City’s City Hall Weddings hold a unique charm, and Pei and Justin’s day was no exception.

We began our journey in the enchanting West Village, where fall and winter painted a stunning canvas. The diversity of colors, the earthiness of the trees, and the falling leaves created a backdrop that was so perfect for getting married.

Special Subtle Details

Adding a personal touch to her ensemble, Pei adorned her hair with small starfish clips – a nod to her and Justin’s shared love for scuba diving. A big bow on her dress and bouquet added a perfect wedding touch.

As we waited for our turn at City Hall, I seized the opportunity to capture moments through both digital and polaroid photos, creating a visual narrative of their journey to becoming newlyweds. Amidst the hustle and bustle of this Friday afternoon, Pei and Justin exchanged vows in a quick and sweet ceremony.

Exiting City Hall, Pei and Justin threw their hands in the air, celebrating as the rain slowed down just in time for couples photos. We embraced the city’s iconic charm, exploring Downtown Manhattan and capturing the essence of their love against the city’s vibrant backdrop.

Our adventure continued as we ventured into the subway for iconic photos, seamlessly blending the city’s energy into their love story. Landing in Dumbo, we captured skyline views, details from their wedding look, and bid our farewells as the day’s magical journey came to an end.
